THE RELATIONSHIP OF CONFIDENCE WITH SELF-ACTUALIZATION IN MAKASSAR STIK FAMIKA STUDENTS YEAR 2019

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between self-confidence and self-actualization in STIK FAMIKA Makassar students. The research design used was analytical observational with a Cross Sectional Study approach, which aims to determine the relationship between self-confidence and self-actualization in STIK FAMIKA Makassar students. The sample in this study were students at the academic and professional stages taken by simple random sampling as many as 30 respondents. Based on the results of research conducted in July 2017 at the STIK FAMIKA Makassar campus, it can be concluded that from 30 respondents, 20 (66.7%) high self-confidence was obtained, and 10 (33.3%) low self-confidence respondents. From 30 respondents, 18 (60.0%) respondents had high self-actualization, and 12 (40.0%) respondents had low self-actualization. There is a relationship between self-confidence and self-actualization in STIK FAMIKA Makassar students, where the results of statistical tests using Chi-Square with Fisher Exact obtained the value of (0.004) < value of (0.05), which means Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. It is suggested to the institution to make extracurricular activities that can increase self-confidence and self-actualization in students.
