THE INFLUENCE OF EATING PATTERNS AND EATING HABITS ON THE EVENT OF STUNTING IN TODDLERS IN THE WORK AREA OF PATTALASSANG PUSKESMAS GOWA REGENCY

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of eating patterns and eating habits on the incidence of stunting in toddlers in the work area of the Pattallassang Public Health Center, Gowa Regency. The research design used is analytic with a Cross Sectional Study approach. The results of this study used a questionnaire with a sample of 15 respondents using purposive sampling. The results of the bivariate analysis showed that there was no influence on the pattern of eating. Multiple Linear Regression statistical test with T test obtained t count < t table (0.853 < 2.17881), eating habits with T test obtained t count < t table (0.149 < 2.17881) where eating habits does not affect the incidence of stunting in toddlers. The results of multivariate analysis showed that there was no joint effect of eating patterns and eating habits on the incidence of stunting in children under five, the value of f count < f table (0.466 < 0.89). The conclusion of this study is that there is no partial and simultaneous influence of diet and eating habits on the incidence of stunting in toddlers in the work area of the Pattallassang Public Health Center, Gowa Regency.
