The sample in this study was children aged 7-12 years, totaling 40, with sampling using the purposive sampling technique, and the research instrument using a questionnaire. The test used is the Chi Square test with Fisher Exact. The results of the study from 40 respondents were 13 (32.5%) respondents who had good personal hygiene but experienced atopic dermatitis, then there were 21 (52.5%) respondents who had good personal hygiene and did not experience atopic dermatitis, there were 5 (12 ,5%) respondents who have poor personal hygiene and experience atopic dermatitis, and 1 (2.5%) respondents who have poor personal hygiene but do not experience atopic dermatitis. Based on the results of statistical tests using the chi square test with a Fisher Exact derivative of 0.05. The results of the statistical test obtained p-value = 0.073 or p-value> 0.05. Thus, it can be said that Ho is accepted, Ha is rejected, meaning that there is no relationship between personal hygiene and the incidence of Atopic Dermatitis in school-age children at SDN 1 Barembeng, Bontonompo District, Gowa Regency.
