Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of the leadership of the head of the hospital room on the performance of nurses in Labuang Baji Hospital Makassar. This type of research is an analytic survey which aims to analyze the influence of the leadership of the head of the room on the performance of nurses in nursing care in the internal room. And the sample obtained was 27 respondents. Leadership and performance data were obtained directly using a questionnaire. The data that has been collected is analyzed using the chi-square test. Based on the chi-square test, the sig value is 0.000. Because value. Sig. 0.000 < 0.05, it can be concluded that Ha is accepted, meaning that there is an influence of hospital leadership on the performance of nurses in Labuang Baji Hospital Makassar. It is recommended for the leadership of Labuang Baji Hospital Makassar to improve the leadership function as an effort to improve the performance of nurses in the form of guidelines and assignments as well as schedules in leading nurses by observing nurses in carrying out nursing care. The management of RSUD Labuang Baji Makassar needs to increase the motivation of nurses through supervision and technical guidance as well as make rewards and punishments through increasing salaries and improving the relationship between fellow members and members with the head of the room so that the resulting performance is better.
