Vol. 1 No. 06 (2020): RELATIONSHIP OF NURSE CHARACTERISTICS WITH PATIENT SATISFACTION IN THE SURGICAL ROOM OF H. PADJONGA DAENG NGALLE HOSPITAL, TAKALAR REGENCY
The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between individual characteristics and job satisfaction of nurses in the operating room of RSUD H. Padjonga dg Ngalle, Takalar Regency. The research design used is quantitative using a cross sectional approach. The population in this study were 20 patients and the sample in this study was 20 patients with total sampling technique. The results showed that the characteristics of nurses who were lacking with less patient satisfaction were 9 (45%), the characteristics of nurses who were lacking with good patient satisfaction were 0 (0%), and the characteristics of good nurses with less patient satisfaction were 3 (15 %), the characteristics of good nurses with good patient satisfaction are 8 (40%). So a total of 9 (45%), 11 (55%) good nurses and 12 (60%), 11 (55%). Because the value.Sig. 0.001 < 0.05, it can be concluded that Ha is accepted, meaning that there is a relationship between nurse characteristics and patient satisfaction in the operating room of H. Padjonga Daeng Ngalle Hospital, Takalar Regency. Therefore, it is necessary for nurses to improve the performance of nurses so that they are better in determining the quality of service to patients.
